Watson and Bailey Woodcraft was founded by Ewald Zietsman at the end of 2024. Named after his beloved rough collie dogs, the studio originated from a desire to leave corporate burnout behind, and do something meaningful instead.

Every piece we make is built by hand, with craftsmanship traditional methods and tools that have stood the test of time. There are no shortcuts in our studio - just honest woodcraft that reflects the character of both our founder and the materials we use.

We believe in creating furniture that's as individual as the person who owns it. Designs are unique and wood is individually selected based on our clients' needs and aesthetic requirements. No two creations are quite the same.

We're based in Johannesburg but work with clients across Southern Africa.
